Welcome to episode 113 of The Intermission Podcast! It’s been a couple weeks since we met up to do this here thing. I guess Corey didn’t get the memo that we hadn’t really disbanded, ‘cause he ain’t here this week. That’s ok. We can figure things out without him.
This week starts out with roller coasters. We learn about all the newest, biggest, and baddest coasters at our two “local” theme parks, Kings Island and Cedar Point. Guy tells us all about the Son of a Bee Sting, and The Varvorine. All the roller coaster talk gets us so excited we plan a podcast outing!
After 20 minutes of planning this epic trip, we move on to different things. We did watch a few movies and whatnot over the past few weeks. Craig watched a movie about wet dreams called Premature. Guy watched Selfless starring Ryan Reynolds and Kinger…..Kingerly….Kingsss…..some other dude. Josh watched a documentary called Valley Uprising.
Guy and Josh met up with Corey and his lady to see Captain America: Civil War on opening night at the Silver Screen VII. The consensus is that it was quite good.
Keeping with the theme of movies, Hi-C is re-releasing Ecto Cooler sometime before the new Ghostbusters movie is released in a couple months. It sounds like Craig might buy a vintage box of Ecto Cooler for Josh to drink on the show. And speaking of vintage beverages, Craig has a bottle of Pitch Black Mountain Dew from the last time it was released, and he’s not sure what to do with it.
Hear ye! Hear ye! Here ye? It has been decreed that the Movieguys shall make a calendar for the year 2017 A.D. and we are looking for ideas! Have a quintessential Moviesguys holiday you think should be included on the calendar? Let us know! Have a great idea for the theme of November’s photo? Tell us dammit! There are literally thousands of ways to drop us a line! We’re on Facebook! Craig, Josh, and Guy are on Twitter @MovieguysCraig, @MovieguysJosh, and @guyboymankid respectively. Email us podcast@movieguy.org, or call the studio phone 1(740)578-9269!
Moving right along, Craig seems to think he can finally get behind the idea of doing away with physical media. This lunatic seems to think it’d be totally fine if he just burned all of his DVD’s and Blu-Ray’s! He had some sort of epiphany when while watching The Simpsons on some newfangled website run by FXX where you can view every episode ever. What a nutjob. We might be getting closer, but I’m holding onto my disks for a few more years.
And now, let’s Ask Guy!!!! Questions for this week include, but are not limited to:
- Salami or pepperoni?
- Captain America: Civil War, or Batman vs. Superman?
- It seems like every time I go to a fast food restaurant, they can’t get my order right. Why can’t fast food workers get your order right?
- Do you pee in the shower?
And finally, our favorite films from the year 2013:
- Fast and Furious 6
- The Wolf of Wallstreet
This is the End- Despicable Me 2
