Happy Madison has yet again made another amazing movie. In the opening scenes of this movie I found myself laughing hysterically as it was just one joke after another. I thought to myself “This must be the gleaming moment of the movie, it couldn’t possibly be this good throughout the whole picture.” My initial thoughts that the laughter would end were oh so wrong. It seemed that the movie was just one joke after another, even when the movie started to get serious, the seriousness would be broken with yet another joke. Sandler and James made a great duo for this film, and in typical Happy Madison style, the cast and extras were all excellent.
I will be the first to tell you this is one of the “gayest” comedies I have ever seen. I don’t mean that in a bad way either, the movie was excellent. The humor was based on old stereo types that kept me laughing from beginning to end. And with countless jokes, and off the wall humor this film is surely going to be a comedic classic. Adam Sandler and Kevin James could not have done a better job on this picture and I hope to see more movies featuring the duo in the future.
Throughout all of the humor though there was a serious plot. So don’t jump to conclusions and think that this is just another slapstick comedy with no real point other than making you laugh. The plot of the movie is still present throughout the film, and the gorgeous Jessica Biel really makes this film a must see.
