Well, hello there gorgeous. I couldn’t help but notice you’re all alone. Can I buy you a drink? Trust me, you’re gonna need it. Why? Because you’re getting ready to listen to a little something I like to call episode 94 of The Intermission Podcast. If that’s not reason enough to drink, this week Guy King is in charge after our trip to the Colony Club, and Silver Screen VII. Let the madness begin.
First Quarter – The Colony Club Gallipolis
With Guy in charge this week we are obviously adopting a new format that revolves around splitting the podcast into quarters. Because sports. So to kick things off (see what I did there?) the first quarters topic is our adventure to the recently opened Colony Club in Gallipolis, Ohio. We gently critique the weaker, and some of the better points of the new entertainment venue in down-town Gallipolis Ohio. Overall, the consensus is that the Colony Club has potential, but there is definitely room for improvement.
On a side note, if the Colony Club would like to book the MovieGuys, you can contact us here!
Second Quarter – Creed at Silver Screen VII
In quarter two the whole team headed down to Silver Screen VII before the podcast to see Creed.
Quarter three – News and stuff
Heading into the third quarter we run a quarterback sneak and just talk about news and anything we’ve watched since last week. Quarterback Craig watched a couple movies from last year/almost last year, The Judge, and Kingsman.
Tight end Guy watched what he claims is a good Owen Wilson movie, No Escape, and a straight to DVD movie from the Redbox, Blunt Force Trauma.
Waterboy Josh, left fielder Corey, and tight end Guy all checked out the new Netflix exclusive Jessica Jones. The three stooges also went to see the final instalment in the Hunger Games series, Mockingjay Part 2. Which, for those of you keeping score, is part 2 of the 3rd and final part of this 4 part series.
There is also an interception involving a show called Super Mansion on Crackle, and a two point conversion from the new Captain America trailer.

Fourth Ining – 1994 Movies
For the fourth inning, we go over our picks for the top movies of the year 1994:
- Forrest Gump
- Dumb and Dumber
- Leon the Professional
- Speed
And there’s the bell! It’s the end of the match folks! It was a close one, but it looks like you are ultimately the winner of this game. Is that too cheesy? I feel like that was too cheesy……
