It’s episode 103 of The Intermission Podcast. It’s another of our world famous Corey-less episodes! Starting off the episode this week, it’s a food/bevcast. Craig had him some real Louisiana gator, and back for a limited time at Speedway (a gas station for those of you who don’t have Speedways in your area) it’s the greatest beverage ever to grace the face of our planet, friggin’ Mountain Dew Pitch Black!!
This week, Josh watched Goon on Netflix. Guy and his pops watched The Intern, The Last Witch Hunter, The Martian, and Hitman: Agent 47 from the Redbox down the street.
Craig watched things. Probably.
Now hold onto your butts. We’ve got something to show Guy, and it’s not for the faint of heart. Without ruining the surprise, I can tell you it involves headphones, a VR headset, and……umm…..an “adult art film”. Needless to say, Guy will never be the same.
After all the excitement that is Guy watching adult art films, Josh loses his pen, then tries to move us on to a new topic. It’s an awkward transition into Disney, followed by xxx parodies of your favorite children’s movies. This somehow takes us into a lively debate about the worst moment in the history of Indiana Jones.
One of these days we’re finally going to get past the whole Deadpool-is-rated-R-and-it-did-awesome-now-all-superhero-movies-should-be-rated-R thing, but until then, we’re going to talk about that thing. So we do. This time it’s Supes v The Batperson having an R-rated version being released on disc.
To wrap up the regular portion of the podcast we discuss next week’s epic contest of incredibleness and awesomtude. Craig and Guy are having a pizza roll eating contest, and we’re hashing out the rules. I think we come up with a pretty good set of basic rules:
- No cheating
- No ralphing
- 1 hour time limit
- Only Pitch Black to wash the pizza rolls down with
For our favorite movies from the year 2003:
- Old School
- Elf
- The Last Samurai
