It’s episode 102 of The Intermission Podcast, which shall be known henceforth as “The Poopisode”. Come along with me as we take a journey through an episode peppered with turd topics and fecal references.
Kicking off the defecation discussion, Craig and Josh had a back catalog of Mythbusters episodes to catch up on, ending with the most recent episode where they make poo powered rockets! (Idea for future episode: Intermission Podcast poo rocket contest!!)
We were in a bit of a hurry this episode, so most of what we talk about is the shit we’ve watched since we last convened. Corey and Guy (and Jeff) watched a couple movies, one good and one not as good. Turbo Kid and Rubber. On a side note, Josh is going to kick everyone’s ass. You’ll understand why.
Craig gets a good crap conversation going about living off of dumpster food after he watched a documentary on Amazon Prime Video, Just Eat It. Speaking of eating things, Guy has really been hitting the ol’ pie wagon pretty hard this week. He’s on a major pizza bender. And you know what? This gives us an idea for what his calling in life might be! Guy needs to go into the pizza banking business! That’s not a typo. I said BANKING.
While secretly coming up with an idea for next week, we have a quick discussion about Blade Runner, it’s upcoming sequel, and how Guy has no idea what Blade Runner is. And then for some reason we started talking about where Corey and Guy were conceived. Gross.
Now that we’ve got Corey back this week, we have a full cast talk about Deadpool and how it has affected the R-rated comic book movie genre, which includes the upcoming film, Batman Vs. Superman.
Closing out the normal episode, we make plans for the next two weeks, which include secrets and pizza rolls. The secrets are just that. Secrets. So don’t ask. I said don’t ask! Stop asking! Oh. You were asking about the pizza rolls? I can tell you about the pizza rolls. So here’s the thing. One time Guy ate 52 pizza rolls in 30 minutes. Craig thinks he can eat way more than that. Game on!
And now, our favorite movies from the year 2002:
- 28 Days Later
- The Bourne Identity
- Minority Report (Guy also doesn’t know what Minority Report is)
- Catch Me if You Can
