The Mist (2007) Film Review

I thought this movie was going to be really cheesy and stupid. I was wrong!! This was one of the better horror/monster movies that I’ve seen in a while. The story is very unique and it was certainly an excellent movie. All of the actors were great, and it wasn’t filled with a bunch of filler lines that don’t really go anywhere. All of this actors lines kept the movie flowing, I didn’t feel stuck and like it should be moving faster like I normally do with the horror movies these days.

Many of you will not like the ending. I’m not a spoiler so I’ll just keep my mouth shut about it. I will say that I loved it, it was very unexpected and came out of nowhere. Some people will be able to guess what happens when they see the things leading up to it but I bet most people will say “what the hell did they do that for?” I am also a big fan of Stephen King but not really a big fan of the movies that come from his books. Some of them were good but for the most part, I didn’t like them as movies. This movie, however, is great and I recommend it to all of the horror fans out there.
