Superbad Review

August 18, 2007 By Craig Layne 2 Comments

Over the past few months I have seen a ton of marketing, and previews for Superbad. After seeing all of this marketing I thought the movie looked stupid, who didn’t? What really shocked me was that the film got an R rating. I was not looking forward to watching this film at all. I had no clue what the movie was actually about, and quite frankly, it looked dumb.

However, I did watch the film and after watching Superbad, I completely understood the R rating. This comedy is packed with foul language, underage drinking, and all sorts of other debauchery, and I must say, I loved it. From start to end Superbad kept me laughing. If you liked Knocked Up you will like Superbad. It is the same style of stupid-humor, in both films.

This is one movie I highly recommend seeing, but only if you are into it’s style of humor. I can picture many people being disgusted with it’s level of vulgarity, but for me it was truly hilarious. So get a babysitter for the kids, or park them in front of the TV, and go and watch Superbad. It is worth it.
