I didn’t have high expectations for Shrek the Third. Being the third in the series I figured they didn’t have much left. However, the green ogre has managed to pull off another great film. Mike Meyers, the voice of Shrek, does an amazing job and is really paired nicely with Eddie Murphy’s character, Donkey.
In this story of fairy tales, we follow the green ogre, Shrek, and his trusty steed, Donkey, on the search for the new king. Of course, many mishaps happen along the way making for a very humorous film.
Many rumors have surfaced that another Shrek is in the making. Supposedly the new Shrek film will take place before the others and tell the story behind the ogre. I don’t really know what there is to tell, he is an ogre, he is green, I hope I didn’t just ruin the movie for you. No titles have appeared for this new film but it will probably be something like Shrek 4, Shrek the Fourth, or Shrek -1 (since it is a prequel).
