Repo Men is an R-rated sci-fi action-thriller that is slated to come out April 2, 2010. It stars Jude Law and Forest Whitaker as two repo men for a futuristic company that supplies biomechanical devices. Hearts, livers, or anything else can be created and then sold for large amounts of money. This company also sets up payment plans and gives loans to these people that can’t afford. The downfall to this is that if you don’t pay someone’s coming to get your organ.
Jude Law and Forest Whitaker are repo men that must go around finding all those that haven’t paid their bills and return the organ to their company. There are two trailers available one a green band trailer and the second a red band trailer. The red is much more sinister and shows a lot of bloody violence and action sequences. The green is tamer and is a better trailer to see if you’d rather not know the plot of the movie, which is given away in the red band trailer. Speaking of which, the next paragraph will include what it seems the plot will be, so be aware before reading on!
After hundreds, maybe thousands, of repos Jude Law’s character seems to run into a problem and ends up in some accident that requires him to obtain an artificial organ to save his life. He is not aware of this decision and wakes up to a new heart. This causes issues when he tries to go back to doing his job and eventually leads him to the other side of the line. He now must fight to stay alive and keep all the other repo men, even possibly his old partner, Whitaker, from killing him and taking his heart back. With those two manning the screen, it has a lot of potential, definitely something to keep track of.
