It’s episode 111 of The Intermission Podcast, and this week you’re getting the quick and dirty version of the episode recap, so keep a bar of soap handy. Here we go.
This week is another one of our famous Corey free episodes. Guy and Josh went on another mandate to see Hardcore Henry. It was indeed hardcore, and there was a gentleman by the name of Henry. Craig and Corey were not invited. Maybe that’s why Corey didn’t show up this week?
Craig watched a couple film movies, Sherpa, and Project Almanac. Sherpa is a documentary on the Discovery Channel about the Sherpas that help folks summit Mt. Everest, and the tragedy that befell them after an avalanche in 2014.
Also this week, Craig and Josh went on an adventure in Columbus to see a showing of an original 70mm print of Ghostbusters. Whilst in Columbus many things happened, and Pitch Black Mt. Dew was purchased. Huzzah!
Nextly, we have a good ol’ discussion of movie theater snacks. Which ones are good, which ones suck, and what should theaters add to their menu? We dig into the archives and find an old article on the site that goes over some possible ideas for what theaters should be offering patrons. What are some foods you think theaters should be serving? Let us know in the comments!
This week on Ask Guy we ask Guy: How do penguins fly if they don’t have feathers? It’s a question for the ages, and Guy answers it with all the panache and finesse of a Rhodes scholar. Is there anything Guy doesn’t know?
On the list of our most favoritest movies from the year 2011:
- Tucker and Dale vs Evil
- Paul
- Real Steel
As a special treat this week Guy tells you his latest mom story. Enjoy!
