The Movie Guys are back and better than ever!!!! Well they’re back at least, what more do you want? After a short hiatus, there is a lot to talk about on this exciting episode of the Intermission Podcast, which I dubbed “The Return of the Jedi Four Idiots That Like to Talk About Movies”. It may be a bit lengthy, but it will surely be better than episode 41, “Corey’s Herpes Strikes Back”. Anyway, Guy yells at Josh, the movie guys talk Jack Reacher 2 and gush over The Magnificent Seven, and Craig tries to kill Corey and the Intern with snack foods. So welcome to episode 132, of the great and mighty Intermission Podcast.
Guy Yells at Josh
Guy has a bone to pick to Josh to start off the show, but first, Craig bitches about some baby his mistress, I mean wife, had that keeps him up at night. But back to Guy’s boner, I mean bone, apparently Josh did something heinous to Guy. Josh went to some horror asylum in the WV, WITHOUT Guy! Then that bastard had the nerve to post his experience on Facebook. Josh claims that he was invited by someone else, so it would be inappropriate to invite someone else, like Guy. This is obviously total crap, then there’s some comments about Josh’s sister… So since it’s halloween time, Josh tells a scary story about the lunatic asylum, which freaks out Guy, and then makes him mad again.
Jack Reacher 2: Never Go Back
Guy and Corey didn’t invite Josh or Craig to go see Jack Reacher 2. They say it isn’t quite as good as the first one, but it’s pretty close. Then Guy gets confused again by the thumb system… Then Craig brings up a very old conversation that you might have caught if you listened to the “Best of” episode, where Guy campaigns for using the thumb system. Interesting. Well Jack Reacher gets 2 out of 4 thumbs up, after all is said and done, and Craig quickly changes the subject. He found some game that revolves around a spinner and a jelly bean, well many jelly beans, Jelly Bellies actually. You spin the spinner and it shows you a picture of a Jelly Bean to try, but the question is do you really want to try it. Coconut, or spoiled milk? Chocolate pudding or canned dog food? You won’t know.
On the topic of food, this month the reaper chip came out. They’re expensive as hell, so cheapo Craig didn’t get any. But he got the next best thing. I have a bad feeling about this. Ghost pepper chips… Hey, it turns out they weren’t that bad. Guy even tried one, well, half of one.
Magnificent Seven and Other Movies
In other news, Craig watched a sports movie. Actually a mascot movie, called Mascots. Then Josh tells tails from his childhood about throwing sticks at a herd of elephants to get his cattle to the watering hole. That reminds everyone of Magnificent Seven! It was awesome! Corey had to shush somebody before his girlfriend cut somebody for tapping their feet. Craig watched a crowdfunded movie that looked like it should suck but didn’t: Man vs. Snake. It’s about some maniac that holds the world record in Nibbler and wanted to beat himself so bad that it hurt. In order for him to set the high high score, he had to play for 39 hours straight and gross over a billion points.
Coming Soon!
Next week on the Intermission Podcast, the Movie Guys play “Will it Hot Dog?”. You make hotdogs out of different things and see if they make good hot dogs. This could get ugly. Be sure to download the Movieguys android app! It’s awesome. An iOS app is in the works, so it will be out soon. And watch out for Movieguys t-shirts! They’re sure to be great. Also, there are some videos coming out if Craig can get on his stuff.
