Resident Evil: Extinction

September 20, 2007 By Dustin 3 Comments

Project Alice is back in action with this highly explosive part three of the the Resident Evil series. Visual effects of are the highest caliber as usual and the acting is damn near perfect. The filmmakers once again nailed the storyline and kept this movie flowing right where the last one left off.

Alice is again put to the test having to overcome various obstacles and characters die that she had grown attached to in the previous films. And with the Umbrella Corporation not caring how many people they kill continue with their experiments. Dr. Isaacs sets up a trap to catch Alice but she has evolved and cannot be controlled by them anymore. He gets infected and takes a crap load of the anti-virus that makes him in the big-ass monster that Alice has to kill.

At first I thought this movie would be the one that just made everything come together, well it did that too, but it was also action packed. Actually almost non-stop from the beginning to the credits. At the end we are left with the impression that there will be another movie. The heads of the Umbrella Corporation are having a meeting and she appears and tells them she is coming after them all and bringing a few friends with her.

I would recommend this movie to anyone who likes action, horror (it is definitely bloody), or the first person shooter videogame on which it was based.

Bearacid gives this movie:
