Welcome to episode 112 of The Intermission Podcast. For some reason our introductions are very sad. Never did get to the bottom of that. Oh well. It didn’t take long for things to pick up! Remember that time we talked about sports? Cause we totally did sort of. Then Corey sold Josh some paint! What the hell is going on here?!
Things are getting pretty serious between Guy and Josh. They went on another mandate to Silver Screen VII to se Keanu. It’s a movie about a kitty cat! They both enjoyed it quite a lot. There were some funny things, let me tell you what.
Thus begins the lengthy process of trying to get a good connection with our special guest this week. I can’t express to you how badly I wish we had screenshots of the exchange. Our special guest was trying to connect via video call, and the few seconds it worked, the images were gloriously wonderful. I’m so sorry we can’t share that experience with you. I considered editing out all the failed attempts, but you know what? You can consider this a behind the scenes
After a few failed attempts at a solid phone connection, and a very interesting message, Craig gives us a recap of his week in Dallas Texas. Long story short, fuck airplanes, and fuck Dallas (except for the bbq).
Finally we get a good connection with our good best friend Sara from West Virginia! Well, a better connection than what we had up to this point. Good gravy this lady is the funniest person we have ever met. Sara has an exciting story to tell us about her interactions with a bona fide tv star. We just wish she could hear us……
Seriously though. Fuck airplanes.
Let’s find out what everyone watched this week. Corey watched Concussion, The 5th Wave, and The Jungle Book. Josh watched Minions. Were running long so let’s move it along people. Nothing to see here.
Next up is everyone’s favorite new segment, Ask Guy. The first question this week is a bit wordy, so I’ll sum it up for you:
- Why are people so mean? Guy has an interesting take on this weeks question, but he must be right. He’s Guy for crying out loud!
- Question #2: If tomatoes are a fruit, is ketchup a fruit smoothy?
- Question #3: Which direction should you point your mouth when you’re talking into a microphone?
And finally, our picks for our favoritest movies from 2012:
- Wreck It Ralph
- Dredd
- Avengers
- Prometheus
