It’s that time again! We’re back with episode 4 of the Intermission Podcast! On this weeks episode we talk about Agents of Shield, Dumb and Dumber To, Arrested Development, and random other stuff.
Lords of Salem and Dumb and Dumber To
The guys discuss Rob Zombie’s Lords of Salem, Guy and Corey rate it a “C” for good cinematography, but a “F” for everything else. Then the guys discuss a Rob Zombie directing a hockey movie: The Hockey Stick of Death or something. They also chat about a little film called Dumb and Dumber To. They have been waiting 20 years for this and now it’s here. Will it live up to the first one? Guy thinks so, and thus he proposes that they should make an Ace Ventura 3, but Craig disagrees. Stupid Craig! This then sparks a conversation about The Mask and The Dog in the Mask which it turns out isn’t a real movie. Then a discussion on Medieval Times leads Guy to proclaim that if you microwave babies you should get a pyramid up the butt. Long story…
Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2
Craig and Josh discuss their latest trip to the movies in which they watched Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2. Craig enjoyed himself, maybe a little too much. He does think that the storyline was a bit childish, but what do you expect from a film about food falling out of the sky. While Craig and Josh were watching movies, Guy and Corey were out dragon boat racing. They didn’t do very well, but they had a good time talking about it. Guy did accomplish his goal of not getting wet, and they didn’t get dead last so thats nice.
The Lego Movie
A debate breaks out as to whether or not the new Lego movie is CGI or claymation, Josh believing the latter and everyone else thinking that he is wrong. Obviously Josh was not not wrong, so sadly that made Craig right. Then this leads into a conversation about an Arrested Development movie, and this makes the Movieguys happy. Unless they can’t get the original cast back together, then in that case it will suck the big one.
Marvels Agents of Shield and Lesbians
We all can agree that Agents of Shield was a disappointment. This doesn’t surprise anyone, but nevertheless. Then Josh and Craig pitch a show about people that search for lost UPS packages. Sounds interesting. Back to Shield, how stupid is it that Coulson is alive, and how are the Avengers going to feel about this? Guy wants to see Nick Fury hanging out with the “dudes” every episode, and Josh thinks that he’ll be a hologram (Fury, not Guy). And if they can’t tie the movie franchise and the show together, which they probably won’t according to the Craig, then in Guy’s own words, “It will suck, just suck.” Then Guy and Corey hate on the Gotham tv show for awhile. Josh would now like to see a “Cops” Gotham edition to see the Joker get pulled over for drunk driving. Then Craig tries to find out if Liv Tyler is a lesbian? Craig has a sure fire way to find out, and Josh gets bombarded by gay porn.
Escape From Tomorrow
Escape from Tomorrow’s guerrilla filming tactics amaze the MovieGuys. This is a full feature length film that was shot illegally, and it is about Disney Princess whores. The discussion leads Guy to start fantasizing about a naked Jasmine. Then Corey shares a near death experience giving a random person a ride through a drive-through. This is possibly the funniest thing Corey has ever said in his life. He still remembers the drive through order… It was traumatic. On the bright side, Corey now has some street cred.
Big Ass Spider and Other Mythical Creatures
Guy is already getting terrified at the thought of a film starring a big ass spider that terrorizes a person, place, or thing. This somehow turns into a conversation about The Walking Dead, and the walking dead spinoff. The guys speculate about the quality of the new show and how it will live up to the original.
Josh crosses a river to see the Mothman Festival, which makes Guy and Corey mad for some reason. This sparks a conversation that goes on for way too long, and Josh doesn’t get to tell his Mothman story for at least another hour. When he finally gets around to telling it, it’s fairly unimpressive. Josh then gets a great business idea from the Mothman Festival. Painting Mothman’s onto existing paintings. Then he can retire with the millions he makes and won’t have to do this show anymore! Then somehow a movie podcast completely de-railed to a bigfoot no, Sasquatch, conversation. Sounds like a good place to wrap up…
