Days of Thunder

I’m not a big Tom Cruise fan but when I was younger this movie is what sparked my burning passion for racing. I would watch this movie every day after school when I was a kid. There for a while I could recite every line in the movie.

The movie is about a driver, Cole Trickle, with no experience in the world of NASCAR. He rises up from being a rookie to the top dog fairly fast. Then when everything is goin great he and his rival are involved in a huge wreck. They are both hospitalized and Cole eventually gets cleared to race again. He falls in love with his doctor (Nicole Kidman) and found himself driving his rival’s car, who can never race again.
