PUSH, is a mix of JUMPER style espionage and HEROES style paranormal powers. I didn’t find the film hard to follow, however I did find the film boring and very derivative of similar sci-fi trends mainly (HEROES). Nobody can fly in this film but is there really anything new here ?
My Name is Bruce – Review
My Name is Bruce is the latest film from cult hero and “B” movie icon Bruce Campbell. Campbell is known for his roles in campy, cheesy sci-fi films, and in My Name is Bruce he displays exactly why he has become a cult hero. The film itself is one giant spoof of his movie career. It doesn’t…
Underworld: Rise of the Lycans
Leaving work I decided to check out a movie. What should I go see? Well, the Movieguys haven’t said anything about the new Underworld movie yet and it is something I definitely wanted to see. So I decided to check it out and I am so glad that I had the chance to. For those…
The Fountain – DVD Re-View
Wow, The Fountain is one of those films that takes an open mind and maybe even a repeat viewing to fully grasp and enjoy. The film was kinda marketed as a time travel sci-fi film, however I interpreted it to be a complex tale of the Cosmic Creation of Life, and how it relates to the metaphysical Genesis of the Garden of Eden. The Day the Earth Stood Still – Are you kidding me?
The first 20 minutes of The Day the Earth Stood Still were excellent. It was building for some excellent suspense and action, but only leads to a slow moving, horrible film. For the first time in a long time I can’t blame the films demise on the cast. The cast did their job great, but…

Primer – DVD Re-view
Primer, was released in 2004 and was instantly nominated for three, IFC INDEPENDENT SPIRIT AWARDS. Best Film, Best Director (SHANE CARRUTH), and Best Debut Performance, (DAVID SULLIVAN).
Babylon A.D.
Let me start by saying that I have never watched the Babylon A.D. series on television. Honestly, this film was the first taste I have ever seen of Babylon A.D. Why have I told you this now? Simple, I have read several bad reviews for Babylon A.D. and I suspect that many of those have…
Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer
Ever since I was little I have loved comic books. I was never really into the Fantastic 4 series of comics but I had read a couple which was rather interesting. The first movie wasn’t that impressive to me but this second installment, Rise of the Silver Surfer, I must say is the better of…
