When I saw the trailers for this movie, I thought it was going to be about a guy who is awake during his surgery and then tell about his experience afterward. This was not the case. In my opinion, the beginning of the movie is very boring. Yes it set up the rest of the movie but I think they just took too long to do it. When I was watching it I really wasn’t sure at the time whether I was enjoying it or not. It was a very unique movie, overall it was pretty good and I will probably watch it again.
The actors were pretty good. I never thought Jessica Alba could play a menacing role like this one. I am sure some people would say that they loved her in the role but I don’t think it fits her. She is more of the love interest type. She did pull off the superhero thing in the Fantastic Four series but other than that she should stick to where she belongs.
I would recommend this movie to drama fans. If go into this thinking it will be a horror movie, you will be very disappointed.
