Saw V – Review

Well, a great deal of people said this movie would be a flop and it was getting to be an old series. Other people said that this series is just getting started and will continue forever like the James Bond of horror films. I’m not really sure. I left this movie feeling like it could go either way really. It was a very good film and it answered a lot of questions that I had about how things came to be. It was one of those “tie up the loose ends” sequels. I really enjoyed it, I think mostly because of the complicated contraptions that they come up with. I am one of those people who like to be suprised in a movie and there were a couple of surprises in this one. Not as many twists as I would have liked but hey I can’t complain about it. I also like how they keep the actors coming back. It would be really confusing to have different actors in this film than say the first two. And by that I mean they recap some of what happened and I would not know who did what. A lot of shit happens in each movie and it would probably ruin the movie for me.  I would recommend this film to fans of the first movies or at least to people who have seen all of the ones before. Otherewise it might not be worth going to see.
