It has recently been announced that Ace Ventura 3 is to start filming this September. For you Jim Carrey fans don’t get too excited, you won’t see Carrey in this new film. Instead it will star the pet detectives “son”, who is taking over the family business. That’s right, the entire movie is going to be based around the belief that some woman let Ace Ventura impregnate her. Personally think that Ace Ventura 3 is going to be a huge let down. You would think the studio would learn by now that this doesn’t work. Remember when they tried to bring back Dumb and Dumber without Carrey? It was a huge disaster. And then that horrible pile of garbage they called Son of the Mask? Bringing back Carrey’s movies has been tried before and it hasn’t worked. The people at Morgan Creek really should realize this and give up. But the big question in my mind is whether or not they will fork out some cash to at least get Carrey for a quick appearance in the film.
