According to (my sources) there is a strong rumor going around that the Director, and Producer/ screenwriters of this past weekends box office Hit Quarantine, are teaming up with legendary Director M Night Shyamalan, on an upcoming project.
I have to wonder if M Night is finally going to let someone else handle the directing duties this time. One major problem in his last few films was obviously the Directing.
Do you think this is a good move on M Nights part, certainly can’t hurt John and Drew Dowdle, or can it ?

I haven’t seen quarantine yet, and really don’t intend to. so I really don’t know what these two are capable of.
Yeah I’d never even heard of them til 3 days ago.
Apparently there a big deal for Quarantine, because it made 2 mil over its budget.
I’m sure this story is going to break mainstream soon…
Just seemed like a rip off of cloverfield to me. i know the plot is different, but I just felt that they were trying the same crap.
Yeah well don’t forget Cloverfield ripped of Blair Witch,,, (in a good way)
This (quarantine) story concept, (I bet) comes from a sub-plot in the TV show 24,,,
I remember I think it was season 3, members of CTU were trapped in a office building and the building was Quarantined do to a bioweapon, everyone started to panic and one of the agents had to shoot a civilain…

Personally if I ever see M. Night Shyamalan… I’ll ask him to stand still and then with all my might kick him, square in the nuts!
I can’t stand the man.. he’s so overrated that if he was a gadget, we’d be looking at a lawsuit! (maybe even some psychological damages)

Tell ya something, if he decides he can’t handle the directing of that movie, I’d sleep better during the night… He’s such a useless has been… It’s amazing to see how huge that frakkin’ wave was he caught with his movie…
Last time I heard news from him, I was told that someone close to him actually was in shock to hear he’s considering Unbreakable 2. Yeah… I’m in shock too… one of the few movies he did well…
If I had a Hammer… arrrgh never mind… the rest of that sentence isn’t as cheery as the Leonard Nimoy song… trust me…

Ok… I’ll give him Unbreakable and 6th Sense… I liked those two movies… but the twists kept getting lamer and lamer in his movies and at the end I just stopped liking him. I was otherwise a huge fan to begin with…

I haven’t seen The Happening yet but hear from several people that it was his worst film and their worst film of 2008…so with that being said, I’ll hold my breath on this news of his teaming with the Quarantine people.
He needs to forget all about that Disney split stuff, get over himself, and get back to writing good stories. I was very excited to hear the rumors of him wanting to possibly make a sequel to Unbreakable and think that that’s a route he should go in.
An Unbreakable sequel would be great Dan. Hopefully we will here more about him moving that direction.
Speaking of “Unbreakable”, I think that was the only film where Sam Jackson actually had some acting range.
Everything else he does is pretty much the same guy.

I agree… lately Sam’s been doing nothing but cussin’ a whole lot… I agree Unbreakable was a step towards the right direction.
A friend of mine knows Bruce Willis’ daughter and he said Bruce is thinking about doing Unbreakable if he can make it better than the first one. But that he’s got some reservations regarding his latest series of films.
But knowing Bruce, he’ll do it either way…
Unbreakable 2 is just an idea at the moment, mostly cause even friends it seems, are suggesting MNS, to go back and pick up his better work, make something new out of it.
We’ll see..
