Farscape Convention and Creation Conventions Schedule Update
Farscape at the Marriott
Well I just got back from the Farscape Convention at the Burbank Marriott, and wow what a great group of fans, and a great show!!! Farscape, was a great science fiction/fantasy tv-show, it’s last incarnation was the mini-series movie called, Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars, this convention was a blast!!! Gigi Edgley I love you!!! ;-)
Unfortunately there’s little news on the Farscape Webisodes, its almost like there’s a “no comment” gag on the entire project. I hope that changes. During Sundays show both Ben Browder, and Richard Manning gave the “no comment” position on the future of Farscape. I’m going to miss the Farscape convention’s here at the Burbank, Marriott, as the future convention’s will be held at the LAX Marriott.

Great report 790! Thanks. I bet you had a lot of fun. Thats a bummer about the lack of Farscape news. I’ll admit I haven’t seen a lot of episodes, but everything that I’ve seen, I loved. I do plan on checking out more of this on DVD. I can only imagine how it felt to be there, as a Farscape fan.
I love conventions. They can be fun even if you don’t particularly care for the subject of the convention! I actually got to go to comic-con back in 02. A friend of mine was working security, and he got me in. Course, I didn’t get to stay long. I was kicked out. But I got to walk the whole floor first. My dream is to one day make it to Comic-Con with press passes. That would be SOOOOOOOOOOOOO cool!
Everyone really knows how to have fun at a convention, because they seem to be some of the most hardcore fans of the subject.
I like that nobodies a freak at the Sci-Fi conventions…
You can be wearing blue makeup, carrying a Sphere (with intent), and people are like, “hey how’s it goin?”

Its the closest thing to living in the “Star Trek Federation” timeline…
Interesting how the Star Trek Conventions inspire a IDIC community at other shows.
I was surprised at how tight the fans of Farscape were,,, these were people that had been coming to this show since it started,,,
I was very impressed.
