Michael Clayton

October 28, 2007 By Dustin Leave a Comment

Whenever I see the name Michael I think it is spelled wrong. I know that this may sound weird to some of you, but I’m weird so get over it. Anyway, If this movie would have been anymore confusing I would not have liked it. But as it stands it was just confusing enough to add mystery and suspense. Even though there are quite a few twists, they really reflect on the thought that went into this script. The storyline and dialogue were excellent and the acting was outstanding. The flashback-like feel also added a nice touch.

Being that George Clooney was in this movie I was somewhat excited to see it. I know a great deal of people think that his acting skills are not up to par but I am very happy with the way this movie turned out. The seemingly paranoid characters always make for a good story. Even though it wasn’t the best movie I’ve seen this year (and not anywhere near my top ten) I still think its worth seeing. I would recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys a movie one constantly has to think about and pay attention while viewing. If you don’t pay attention you will surely miss some of the deep plot lines.
