Welcome to the final 80’s episode of The Intermission Podcast, episode 89. We start the episode of with Corey telling us about his adventure at the Renaissance Fair. Heck, he even made a costume. It was stupid, but still….he made a costume.

After Guy and Josh decide they’re going to the next Renaissance Fair as a couple, we talk about some movies we didn’t see this week. Then we talk about some movies we did see this week. Craig saw Chappie finally. He also saw Get Hard, and despite the fact that he hates…..crap…..what’s the fella’s name……I’ll think of it……something Love maybe? Anyways, Craig hates him, but he still KEVIN HART! That’s the guy! Kevin Hart. Yeah, so Craig hates Kevin Hart, but he still liked Get Hard, and I think he even like Mr. Hart in the movie.
Guy and his pop watched Mad Max: Fury Road, Kingsman, and Love and Mercy which is about Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys. This gets us off on a tangent about movies that chronicle the lives of musicians.
In recent James Bond news, Daniel Craig said he’d rather slit his wrists than film another Bond movie. Or did he? Yeah, he did.
Next, we discuss some Star Wars related news, which brings us around to video games (The Star Wars Battlefront Beta was going on at the time we recorded the episode).
Finally, being episode 89, we share some of our favorite films from 1989:
- The Little Mermaid
- The Abyss
- Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
- Milo and Ottis
- National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation
