I’m sorry to say this, but I had high hopes for Snakes on a Plane. (even before the hype exploded). I love cheese. And this screamed of Cheese! I also have enjoyed David R Ellis’ films. I thought Cellular was very entertaining and Final Destination 2 – what great death scenes!
So I was disappointed when the movie kinda imploded on itself. Though it did have some great death scenes too. And it spurred a ton of rip-offs…Snakes on a Train, anyone? Look up the trailer…you won’t believe it.

I don’t know who took your movies. I certainly don’t need DVD’s anymore, you know that.
I was looking forward to Snakes on a plane too. I knew it was going to be over the top and cheesy, but I didn’t think it’d be as bad as it was. I think it definitely suffered from too much hype causing crazy high expectations. The death scenes were pretty cool, but the thing I took home from this film was how unexpectedly funny it was. I was laughing out loud in the theater (the only one doing it, btw) But it was funny! I especially thought the scenes with the snakes in the airplane bathrooms were pretty good. That snake bit that guy right on his pecker!
For the longest time after seeing Snakes on a plane, a friend of mine was telling me to check out Snakes on a train. I didn’t believe him, I just couldn’t believe anyone would do it. Alas, he was right. I saw it, and it was far worse than Snakes on a Plane.

Kate Holmes knew what kind of business arangement she was signing up for. I don’t feel sorry for her in the least.
Dane Cook is the biggest no talent out there !!! Unfunny and annoying…

It was hilarious. I loved every retarded second!
Now, I’m gonna get blasted for this, but I stand by my opinion: I like Dane Cook. I think he is hilarious. Makes me laugh every time I see him. I can’t remember the last comic that made me laugh as hard as Dane does. AND, I like his movies. They suck, with bad stories and bad acting, but Dane Cook always makes me laugh. Something about his delivery, I think, instead of his jokes. The way he says them is enough to bust me up. I can see how people could think he’s annoying, and to a lesser degree I see people not liking him. That’s totally cool with me. But I think the guy is very funny.
That one he did with Jessica Alba, with the penguin at the very end… What dane was doing to it, made me laugh hard!

im just losing respect for him… i think hes hilarious when he does stand up and sometimes hes funny in movies, but i think hes way funnier doing stand up and i think when someone finds something they are really good at, and something theyre not so great at, they should stick with the thing theyre really good at if that mae sense. lol
employee of the month was good, but it was all about andy dick in that one. haha

The supporting cast of Employee of the month were all funnier than Dane was in that one, but it was still a funny movie starring Dane Cook. Clearly, not everyone will like Dane.

I saw Snakes on The plane because everyone i knew was raving about how good it was, Man was that just one cliche after another, i think Sam Jackson said that this was an orginal idea and that was why he signed on. It must have been in his contract “Mr. Jackson will promote said film, in a postive and exciing manner. If asked why Mr Jackson aggreed to star in said film, his response must include in some form, that said film is an orginal idea, with masterful storytelling and plot design.” Heres your paycheque Mr Jackson.
This is all i am going say with regards to Andy Dick, I HATE THE GUY! He is unfunny, and a hack. After the shit he said to Jon Lovitz about PHil Hartman. Lovitz may not be the most talented person out there, but at least he has consistent work, what about you Andy? What have you done thats of any value lately?? A jackass in my books.

Now while i try to lower my blood preasure after talking about Andy Dick, Here is a question for all Yall.
What is your guys favorite movie soundtrack, whether it be Instrumental or a compliation.
My preferance is Forrest Gump (sucker for the classics) Dumb and Dumber and The Rock.

The cliche’s are what made Snakes on a plane enjoyable for me. It certainly wasn’t a comedy, but it sure made me laugh like one!
I really don’t do movie soundtracks. I just really don’t feel the need to own the music from any film. But I usually read up about what artists are going to be on each soundtrack. So, if memory serves, I’d have to say I’d like the soundtrack to the Rollerball remake and Punisher: War Zone.
What can I say? I like heavy metal.

Here’s a couple of soundtracks that I would call must haves.
Instrumentals:
Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind.
Star Wars
Rock:
Heavy Metal
To Live and Die in LA.

I think I heard a couple of songs off that soundtrack, I liked them. But damn that was a long time ago. I loved the music from Heavy Metal, so I’d imagine that would be a soundtrack I’d like.
