Who will watch the Watchmen?

The most celebrated graphic novel of all time is coming to the big screen in 2009. The latest trailer has just been released.

Who will watch the new trailer for the Watchmen?  Well, I’m sure you have by now. I’ve seen it several times already. That’s what took me so long to get it to the site. But there it is, in all its glory! Isn’t it beautiful?  I think I’ve made clear my stance on this movie. It is going to friggin rock!  I can’t wait, and this trailer has only  gotten me  even more psyched!  What do you guys think?  Any good?  Does it make you want to see the movie more, less, or do you even care?

Watchmen is scheduled to be released March 6th, 2009

    If you don’t know anything about Watchmen at this point in the game, that is actually a really good strategy 790. I’m pretty sure by the time you see the movie, you are going to want to check out the graphic novel. I’m like the biggest Watchmen fan on the planet, and I’ve never been more excited for a movie. EVER. But stick with it 790. Then when you see it, go get yourself a copy of the graphic novel. You won’t be disappointed.

    I’m following the same track as 790. No more “Watchman” stuff until I can see the movie. Um, is it time to see the movie yet??
    :-))

    @the Old Man

    Do you just mean no more “new” Watchmen stuff? Have you already read the novel?

    I haven’t read the novel Jon . I’ve seen the first two trailers and found the second one, too revealing of a key plot point. I don’t want to spoil my experience or its post potential. I will purchase the GN and read it after seeing the movie.

    Haven’t decided exactly when to buy the book. After the first of the year, I suppose. I’m intrigued by its potential. subject wise it quite possibly is the greatest or at least one of the greatest stories about the condition of the hero of this generation. It may be up there with the “DUNE” chronicles or “Hero With A Thousand Faces” in this aspect.

    Thats a really good idea. Anyone who knows nothing about the Watchmen should completely avoid everything Watchmen related until they’ve had the chance to enjoy the movie. But afterwards, I implore all of you to check out the GN. It’s good.

    The Watchmen will change the way you look at heroes and comic books. Seriously.
