Friday the 13th - Trailer

The first trailer for Friday the 13th was shown last week at the Scream Awards. This trailer is almost the same trailer, but with just a few things extra.

Friday the 13th is set to release on February 13, 2009. Surprise surprise, it is a Friday. I think that Friday the 13th is a good day to release the film, but personally I would have liked to see it released closer to Halloween. It just seems like more of a Halloween/October film, than an end of winter February film.

I am just a person who loves movies. I take time every week to head to the theater. I currently live in the smallest of small towns and hope to someday relocate to a larger city closer to the movie industry, If I didn't have to work for money I would sit around watching movie in my underpants while I drink beer every day. Yeah.

  1. I can no longer relate to this franchise.
Like Jason, it really needs to reinvent itself or die!!!

  2. I was gonna post this trailer after I did the “Saw V” review but I forgot. “Friday the 13th” was the first horror movie I watched when I was young. And I think I will always like the movies. Even now I still go back and watch the old ones from time to time.

  3. Came over today to check this out again. Michael Bay hasn’t done a thing for it has he? Is michael Bay a has been? He’s got plenty of films in production but will any be as fun to watch as “Bad Boys” or “Armageddon?”

  4. Personally, I’m really excited about this. Maybe it’s just the optimist in me, but I’m hoping this will be a fresh take on Jason. I loved the originals for the “campiness” of them. They were so gruesome and cheesy. As long as you don’t go in expecting “Citizen Kane” or “Casablanca” (yes I just referrenced 2 classics when talking about a Friday the 13th flick) meaning you don’t expect a fine peice of cinema that stands the test of time, there certainly is a level of enjoyment that can be achieved.

  5. There’s an Evil Dead vibe to this trailer,,,
