It is about time that we see a film about “real life” Jedi’s. I for one am very excited about this film, but personally find it very hard to believe that it is based on a true story.
The film is based on a book titled “The Men Who Stare at Goats” which was written by Jon Ronson, released in 2004. The story supposedly portrays the US Military’s experiments with New Age methods during the Bush administration. The story also inspired a three part documentary that was aired recently on the Channel 4 network in Britain titled Crazy Rulers of the World.
True or not, the film looks to have a great cast, and looks very entertaining to me. The trailer alone inspired me to order the book from Amazon, which has already gotten great reviews.
