The past few days Jon has posted a few character posters for the upcoming film Inglourious Basterds. This got me to thinking, and I realized that we hadn’t shown the trailer yet here at MovieGuys. The trailer has been around for a while, but it is really an awesome piece. I am not a big Tarantino fan, but I must say that Inglourious Basterds looks absolutely amazing. If I were to have just read about the film I may have griped about Brad Pitt playing a lead role, but from what I see in the trailer he was a perfect choice.
Another casting choice the surprised me was Samm Levine. You know, the guy from Sydney White, Family Guy, and Still Standing. The trailer didn’t give use much insight into his role, but I really don’t see him being able to fit the tough guy persona. However, I don’t see one casting call being able to ruin this awesome film.

I usually don’t like Brad Pitt, but he was the man for this role. Damn good job and everything looks really good so far. I’m excited about this!

How could you forget Samm Levine in Freaks and Geeks?! Kid can act. Wait… he’s like 30… MAN can act.
I’m really psyched for this flick, I think the ensemble cast will make for something really great.

I still have not quite made up my mind on Basterds yet, it looks like my type of film, WWII, Nazi’s and Tarrintino all thrown together in the mix. However I just don’t think i have enough information (ie plot, story,etc) to really swing me in favor of seeing it.

this looks interesting… i saw this in the theater last night and the part with hitler was really funny. they picked a good actor for that part… dont know what his name is but the bad guy from ace ventura. lol good call.
