G.I. JOE

I think this is an awesome idea after seeing the great job they did with Transformers. I really wasn’t sure how they were gonna pull it off and make it look real, but the producers and directors these days are amazing me more and more. I was excited before about the G.I. JOE movie but I am super excited now. They really have taken the 80’s cartoons to the next level. Rumors say producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura, of Transformers, is set to start filming at the beginning of 2008.

Rumors also say that Mark Walhberg (Shooter and The Departed) will be starring as Duke, Ray Park (X-MEN) will play the role of Snake-Eyes, Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil series) as Scarlett, Michael Clarke Duncan as Roadblock, Willem Dafoe (Spiderman and Boondock Saints) as Cobra Commander (awesome choice in my opinion), Gerard Butler (Phantom of the Opera) as Destro, Jessica Biel (I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry) as Baroness, and Takeshi Kaneshiro (House of Flying Daggers) as Storm Shadow.
