I know there are a crap-load of people out there who watch the TV show American Idol. Personally, I pass on it but anyways, those of you who do in fact watch the show will be interested to know that Katharine McPhee has landed a role in a Happy Madison movie with co-star Anna Farris. There has been no title released for this upcoming movie yet but McPhee will be playing a sorority girl where Anna Farris plays an ex-Playboy Bunny and the den mother of the sorority house. Shooting is said to begin late this summer.

McPhee also has a role in the indie film “The Last Caller”. It is a dark romantic comedy that was written by Michail Albanese. Budget for this movie is said to be about $6 million and shooting will begin in the fall in and around the New York area.
