Okay, that looks pretty kick ass to me.
I really enjoyed the first one. The only real drawback for me was that the action was a little hard to follow. So hopefully they correct that and make this one better. I love robots fighting other robots.

I think I’ll catch it on DVD unless someone drags me to see it. Something tells me I’m going to get dragged into it. Some of my friends actually liked the first one… So yay, another Michael Bay action movie…

Ok, so heres my beef guys, I don’t really understand why everyone bashes on Michael Bay. The man is obviosly good at what he does, which is blow shit up and make an entertaining action flick. So then why all the harsh critism? I’ll be the first to admit Transfromers was not entirely what I expected, but I still loved it and thought, aside from crappy dialogue, the action was perfect for Transformers movie.
Now that thats’s out of the way, Cool poster, but I was expecting a few more picks of the actual Transformers in the movie. If you want to get me more excited to see this flick give me something to be excited about, pics of Shia Labouf and Megan Fox really does not do it for me, sorry. Both IMO, are overrated and thus proven to untalented, not to say that can’t change, they just need to broaden their range of films.

Yeah, I personally watched the movie about four times with the hubby in theatres. THis movie is going to rock. THe poster looks fantastic. I was never a fan of transformers growing up, but since the hubby was a huggggge fan, i thought i would watch it. WOW!!! I was hugely impressed. I may have to watch this one four times as well.

First off I’m right there with you Metallicat. Bay is great at what he does. When I want to see “Awesome action”, my vote is for Michael Bay. (If you haven’t seen the Verizon FiOS Bay commercial, look it up…it’s Awesome!)
The poster is pretty cool, but I too expected something a little more revealing. I love big fighting robots and I hope they do make the “fighting action” easier to follow in the new flick.
I wasn’t over excited about the “anime-over-design” robot portion of the Transformers in the first film. Sure they’re cool looking, but I thought they tried to hard with all the moving extra parts. I could hardly make out what some of them looked like, even in the high-res images that were released. Sometimes simple is better in my opinion.
I didn’t hate the first one, I just hope that this one is better.

Haha, you guys dont know how this works?
They hype and hype and hype, then give you a little peak, then a little more.
By the time you FINALLY get a real look you are burnt out.
God I love Hollywood :)

Well, Hype almost killed a good movie for me. If I had to hear one more thing about Ledger as the Joker and how amazing he is and it’s the best acting anyone has ever done in any film from the beginning of time….I was going to dig up Heath and kick him in the throat for offing himself….
uh, too soon?

I thought exactly the same thing JD. i actually thought it was already ruined, until i saw the film and it kicked major ass.

@ JD maybe just a wee bit too soon. Try again in a couple days, then it will be long enough to be funny. :P

I am with you, with no disresepct to the dead of course, But yeah, I am really tired of hearing about The JOker and Heaths ledgers death and Blah Dee Fucking Blah. TDK Was an Awesome Movie, The Joker was fantastic and Heath Ledger was a great actor, His death was tragic. Can we please move on and stop beating this already way past dead (pardon the the punn) Horse! Can we focus something else PLZ! Thats what I feel like saying to people who constantly talk about TDK or Heath Ledger. This is going to end up being just like Elvis, we are going to start hearing about Heath LEdger Sightings and before you know it we will have a Heath Ledger show in Vegas on the strip.

This franchise can only get better as the first film sucked hard.
This poster however looks demonic to me,,, kinda missing the mark, again,,,

So I shouldn’t tell you guys how much I loved Heath’s Joker?
790 is right, the film can only get better. At least for me, I love fighting robots, so no matter how much it sucks, I will enjoy myself.
A lot of people bash Bay, myself included. But you are right, he is good at what he does. And there is nothing wrong with a Bay action film if the mood suites you.

@jon
Its Ok to love The Joker. Its bad to make the constant topic of discusion, which you don’t do , so its ok. Bay actually did one of my all time fav action flicks “The Rock”, I love that movie. I actually spent 35 bucks on the Criterion Collection Edition, I loved it that much.
