The Dark City Directors Cut, is a totally re-edited film that includes over 11 min of additional footage. There are a few new scenes that were obvious however the entire film has been re-edited by director Alex Proyas, and unlike the recent new Waterworld cut, this is not the TV version.

Well it took “13″ years for the Extended cut of Waterworld to come out on DVD. Was it worth it? Yes, and no. (IMO), Waterworld has been cursed with a bad theatrical version ever since it came out in 1995. Those who don’t know, Kevin Costner fired Kevin Reynolds right after he turned in his final cut of the film. Costner then spent four months re-editing the film into what was known as the “Costner cut”, or the theatrical version.

Ok, yeah I get that this film came out eight years ago, however after asking around it seems that very few people have seen the film. In that case its a pleasure to re-view, Six Days in Roswell for those that missed the mother ship.)

The Fall, premiered in 2006 but wasn’t released until May 2008, only recently I was able to catch this on dvd. The film was shot in over 18 different countries, and took over 4 years to make… I figured it deserved a re-view.
