So The Expendables has been absolutely killing in the box office. to the tune of around $45million. A bit lower than I would have predicted, but still nothing to be sad about. But let's look at the actors in The Expendables. Ever wonder what their body count is? Sure, we always watch actors destroy each other in films, but how many fictional characters have they actually killed? Wonder no long... more.

1 CommentsPosted by Craig Layne on July 26, 2010 under Featured, Movie News
That's right everyone, we now have 4 NEW Green Lantern posters for our viewing pleasure. Well, new to me at least. I have no clue when these hit the web, but a MovieGuys reader was kind enough to send them my way. The posters don't give away any of the films plot, or even a real glimpse at the actors themselves. However, they are pretty cool to look at, and I love the slogan. In the Brightest ... more.

If you remember at the end of Rambo 4 (AKA Rambo, AKA John Rambo) it was pretty obvious that the end of the series was here. For those of you that don't remember (spoiler alert), the end of the film showed Rambo walking down a dirt road on his way home. Sly even said himself that he wouldn't be walking down that road again, that it was the final film in the chapter. So what is the deal with the... more.

Earlier this evening, some news surfaced regarding the casting of the upcoming film, The Hobbit. According to an inside source, the part for Bilbo, has been read by, two no-name actors, that have never played any major part in any Hollywood film. Given this information, it is easy to speculate that the part of Bilbo may be played by someone you have never heard of before, and possibly several o... more.
  • American Pie 4?

1 CommentsPosted by Craig Layne on April 2, 2010 under Movie News
Ever since American Pie debuted in theater back in 1999, I have repeatedly heard about "Stiffler's Mom" and what happened "This one time at band camp." However, the franchise took a serious nose-dive with a series of sequels, and spin-offs. The only redeeming factor to the franchise has become Eugene Levy. Yesterday THR reported that the series would be getting a reboot of the original series... more.

Over a year ago we first heard about The Expendables, which will quite possibly be the most badass movie of the year. It is rather simple really, The Expendables is about a group of mercenaries on a mission to overthrow a violen... more.

Let me just start by saying that this bit of news is 100% RUMOR at this point in time. I received this tip from a MovieGuys reader, and I am unable to confirm this bit of news. Recently FX announced that they had ordered a second season of their new animated series, Archer. Archer has averaged nearly 1.2 million viewers for each airing. This is pretty good, seeing as how the show is aired lat... more.

I can't decide if I'm excited to hear about Weird Al's new movie or if I'm just a little bit creeped out by it. On the one hand, I've always enjoyed Weird Al's parody songs. Of course, I'm not old enough to remember “I Lost On Jeopardy” and “My Bologna”, songs of his that were popular back in the '80s, but I have heard the re-runs. On the other hand, I just can't imagine someone who sings ... more.
